Submission of Short Films addressed to distribution must be effected by entering the works to 'I've Seen Films', Rutger Hauer's International Film Festival.
If your work will be deemed suitable for distribution, you will get a confirmation email requesting you to send your film on to us on DVD Video (DVD-R) or Blu-Ray formats.
Please note that in all events, all submitted materials will not be returned to the sender.
After having perused your work, we will send you the Distribution Contract which will have to be signed and mailed back to the address indicated on the Contract.
Our standard contract can also be revised according to the authors’ specific needs. Some issues, such as the contract validity or distribution limitations can be, in some cases, modified. Our Legal Department is at your disposal for discussing about these issues.
The signing of the contract, as well as the short film distribution, is totally free of charge for the authors. Special promotional campaigns will be agreed upon with the authors.
New short films get included in our catalogue on a daily basis, helping in enriching its contents.
The distribution takes place in theaters, on dedicated sections of internet portals or TV networks.
But it doesn’t end here.
Short films compilations, on DVD or Blu-Ray format, will be sold through news-stands, theaters, public places. The short films will also be available on cellular phones, handhelds, enclosed in magazines and newspapers.
Practically, what we offer is a 360° distribution which will give the selected short films the greatest possible exposure. More...
It goes without saying that in order to perform a commercial distribution which can ensure proceeds, it is mandatory that the authors are the owners of the copyrights as well as the holders of all authorizations in regard to their works, with special emphasis on the relevant music scores.
The distribution contract also foresees that, in case of festivals or contests attendance, the author makes sure that his short film will not be streamed from any internet website or TV network as part of the artistic initiatives to which it has been submitted.
